Privacy Policy | Connect Life Sciences

Last updated: 7/1/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Connect Life Sciences, LLC (“Connect Life Sciences,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit connectlifesciences.com (the “Site”), contact us, or apply for a role through us. Connect Life Sciences provides staffing and recruitment services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The short version
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, and we collect the information you choose to send us through our contact and careers pages. We do not sell your personal information. If you are a California resident, you have specific rights over your data, described below. You can control analytics cookies through the consent banner on the Site or through your browser.

1. Information we collect

In short
We collect information you provide directly (for example, when you contact us or apply for a role) and a limited set of information collected automatically when you browse the Site.

Information you provide to us

When you complete a form on the Site, email us, or apply for a position, you may provide:

  • Contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, and company or organization.
  • Professional and employment information, such as your resume or CV, work history, education, qualifications, and any other details you include when applying for a role or joining our talent network.
  • Message content, meaning anything you choose to write to us in a form field, email, or attachment.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics) and through standard web server logs:

  • Usage and device information, such as pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, referring website, browser type, operating system, and general device characteristics.
  • Approximate location, such as the country, region, or city derived from your device’s IP address. As described below, Google Analytics does not store your full IP address.
  • Online identifiers, such as the randomly generated identifiers stored in analytics cookies to distinguish one visitor or session from another.

Categories under California law

For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the “CCPA”), the personal information described above falls into these statutory categories:

  • Identifiers (for example, name, email address, phone number, IP address, and online identifiers).
  • Professional or employment-related information and education information (for example, resume, work history, and qualifications).
  • Internet or other electronic network activity (for example, browsing and interaction data collected by analytics).
  • Geolocation data (approximate location only).

2. How we use information

In short
We use information to respond to you, to provide recruitment services, to operate and improve the Site, and to meet legal obligations.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
  • Evaluate candidates, match professionals with opportunities, and provide our staffing and recruitment services.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and performance.
  • Comply with applicable laws, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

3. Cookies and analytics

In short
The Site uses cookies for basic functionality and for Google Analytics. You can control analytics cookies through the consent banner, your browser settings, or Google’s opt-out tools.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to gather information about how a site is used. The Site uses first-party cookies (set by this Site) for these purposes. You can review the specific cookies used on the Site, and change your choices at any time, through the cookie preferences in the consent banner.

Google Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (for example, cookies beginning with _ga) to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. This information is used in aggregate to measure and improve the Site’s performance. It is not used to identify you personally.

Unlike the older Universal Analytics, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your full IP address. Your IP address is used momentarily to estimate a general location (such as country or city) and is then discarded rather than saved. Data collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google on our behalf. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You have several ways to control cookies and analytics:

  • Consent banner. Use the cookie preferences available through the consent banner on the Site to accept or decline non-essential cookies, and to change your choice at any time.
  • Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across websites.
  • Global Privacy Control. The Site is designed to treat a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, as described in Section 5.

4. How we share information

In short
We share information with service providers who help us operate, with prospective employers when you seek a role through us, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose personal information in the following ways:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as website hosting, analytics (Google), email, and recruitment tools. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Prospective employers and clients. As a staffing and recruitment firm, when you apply for a role or join our talent network, we share relevant candidate information (such as your resume, qualifications, and contact details) with prospective employers and clients for the purpose of evaluating you for opportunities.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Connect Life Sciences, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Your California privacy rights

In short
California residents can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, can opt out of any sale or sharing, and cannot be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:

  • Right to know and access. You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • Right to delete. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you.
  • Right to correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. To the extent we process sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted by law, you may direct us to limit that use.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

How to exercise your rights

You may submit a request by emailing us at connect@connectlifesciences.com or by calling (781) 232-3580. We will verify your request by confirming information we already hold about you. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of the agent’s authorization.

We will respond to verifiable requests as required by the CCPA. We will not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

We honor a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device.

6. Other U.S. state privacy rights

In short
Residents of some other states have similar rights. You can exercise them using the same contact methods above.

Depending on where you live, other state privacy laws (for example, in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and a growing number of additional states) may give you rights similar to those described for California, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any such rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will honor rights that apply to you under the law of your state of residence.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, to respond to you, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Data security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, such as our page on LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any website you visit.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
